DERMACLINIC offers specialised treatment methods to treat acne scars, scars and stretch marks.

Everybody’s skin is different, it is best to have a consultation with a skin expert for advice on which treatment option or combination of treatments would be most effective.

ACNE SCAR CAUSES

Acne is the result of skin pores enlarged with excess oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria. Unfortunately, when the pore swells enough to break the follicle wall it can lead to lesions. This can be temporary lesions which heal fast or if the infected material spills out onto the surrounding skin it can lead to deeper lesions. Your skin will naturally try and heal these wounds with new collagen fibers but unfortunately, these are not usually as smooth as your original skin and can show up as a different colour or texture, and that is how you end up with acne scars.

TREATING ACNE

If the acne itself is still active, then this should be treated first as treating the acne will prevent the appearance of long-lasting scars.

TREATMENTS

1) GREEN PEEL® Natural Herbal Peeling - This medically developed, natural peeling method is derived from all natural plant ingredients. The GREEN PEEL mask is a mixture of eight selected herbs containing enzymes, minerals and vitamins, which are massaged into the skin. The treatment increases blood circulation, opens pores allowing the skin to absorb all the natural ingredients.

The herbs contain a unique composition that has different effects on and in the skin. From the inside, the herbs work by administering anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties as well as providing nutrition, strengthening, cleansing and protection for several days after treatment. This herbs used in this unique treatment provides the skin with what it needs after procedure and results in minimal stress on the skin.

The peeling effect of the herbs on the skin surface increases circulation as the herbs penetrate the skin. This is essential for the active substances of the herbal mask to emit and stimulate the deeper layer of the skin.

2) DMD MICRONEEDLING - Microneedling stimulates collagen production and naturally enhances the skin’s healing process. By applying microscopic needles onto the surface of the skin, your body reacts by boosting its own resources rejuvenating the complexion and reducing fine lines, acne scars, pigmentation and tired looking skin.
